Żubr has been brewed in the Białowieska Forest region in East Poland since 1768. Żubr translates as bison in Polish and the Białowieska Forest is Europe’s last remaining primeval forest, home to the bison. Traditional brewing methods using natural pure water from the forest, extended fermentation and maturation gives Żubr its full bodied taste. Żubr is the natural choice for those wishing to reward themselves with the taste of an outstanding Polish beer at the end of a long day’s work.
